The Herts Air Ambulance is looking for new Volunteers to help raise funds for the County’s life-saving helicopter.
Although the Charity employs a small number of full time staff, we are extremely grateful for the presence of committed volunteers and fundraisers who generously give their valuable time and expertise.
The demand for the fundraising team to attend events across the county is ever increasing and we really need to recruit as many volunteers as possible before the start of the busy summer season. We are extremely grateful for the presence of committed volunteers who are our ambassadors for the charity; generously giving their valuable time and expertise, without which we simply could not fly!
We are asked to attend hundreds of different events each year from county shows and seasonal balls to school fetes and garden parties, as well as hosting its own events.
We particularly need help in the following areas:
- Managing merchandise stands at events
- Fundraising Tin Collections
- Public speaking
- Cheque presentations
- Special Projects (Using your particular skills and experience to help the Charity)
Our volunteer opportunities are open to anyone in the community and to people of all ages and experience. We want to hear from you if you simply have time to spare, are at school or college and looking for work experience or are seeking an opportunity that can be added to your CV.
