Elms Stansted is proud to support Herts Air Ambulance as its charity for 2008. As a motor dealer, we feel there is a signifcant link between the charitable cause of the charity and our business activity. A large proportion of the shouts the Air Ambulance attend are road traffic accidents and as a motor dealership we assume a certain responsibility for supporting this activity, and the community we operate in. We adopted Herts Air Ambulance as 'our' charity for this year as it's crucial for the County. We were amazed to discover that Hertfordshire did not have its own ambulance. We know how important it is that casualties are reached quickly, especially those injured as a result of road accidents. Whatever we raise is matched £ for £ by the company, which is great news and we are very pleased that the initial target of £250,000 to buy the ambulance has been achieved. We're now helping to raise the £700,000 a year which will be needed to keep it operational.

LA Digital are based in Woolmer Green, Hertfordshire. Supplying and installing digital dictation systems to doctors surgeries form a significant part of our overall business activities. LA Digital continues to support the Herts Air Ambulance, andis now donating £100 for every new surgery installation to help keep the much needed helicopter in the air.

We run a village community pub and together with our regulars we choose a charity each year for our fundraising events.

The Herts Air Ambulance was brought to our attention early last year and we were delighted to find such a worthy charity to support. We, like many other people, were not aware that Hertfordshire did not have its own Air Ambulance and know what an important role this medical facility plays in saving lives.

Herts Air Ambulance have been adopted by Dor-2-Dor as their pet charity and is donating a free leaflet distribution service in support our appeal.

Herts Air Ambulance is pleased to be working in partnership with Party Buds, professional balloon decorators. Suppliers of balloons for your every need, including parties, corporate events and weddings. Party Buds kindly donated a novelty balloon structure of the helicopter for a competition at the Herts County Show 2009.  
 

4Networking is a National Breakfast Networking organisation with almost 200 breakfast groups across the UK, locally within the Herts and Essex Region we have 15+ groups who support the Herts & Essex Air Ambulance appeals through our ‘Fun Fine System’ so if your phone goes off during the meeting or there is any Unfunny Heckling then £1 is donated by the offender.

Many of our members also support the fight for life lottery and our recent golf day resulted in over £400 being raised we look forward to exploring more ways to work with Nikki and the Air ambulance team to support this excellent cause.
