Herts County Show

The Herts Air Ambulance will again be part of this year's Herts County Show. Come along and meet the crew and see the helicopter close up. For more info on this year's show click here.

Herts Youth Games

Saturday 26th June 2010

The Herts Youth Games is coming round again, and once again the Herts Air Ambulance will be based at the event.

This year's Herts Youth Games will take place on Saturday 26th June at the stunning facilities of the Hertfordshire Sports Village, University of Hertfordshire. The Games will see teams of young people representing different local authorities of Hertfordshire compete in sports such as football, rugby, athletics and basketball with the winning team receiving the Victor Ludrum Trophy.

The life-saving aircraft will be based at the Hertfordshire Sports Village for the event and will be operational from the site. People are invited to come and spectate the sporting events and have the chance to meet the helicopter crew up close and personal!

Challenge Iceland!

Thursday 15th to Tuesday 20th July 2010

Go Red!

Monday 20th - Sunday 26th September 2010
During National Air Ambulance Week Herts Air Ambulance ask businesses, schools, groups and societies or individuals to wear RED for a day and donate £1 to the charity, it's that simple! It's a fun and creative way to raise all important funds and keep your life-saving helicopter flying and saving lives.

Darts MarathonSunday 4th April 2010

The Rest and Welcome pub in The Street, Haultwick, Ware are hosting a 12 hour Darts Marathon to raise cash for the Herts Air Ambulance. 12 players in rotation trying to score a total of 500 thousand and one in 12 hours between 11am and 11pm. for more info contact Tracey on 01920 438432. 

 

Abseil for Charity...

Saturday 1st May and Sunday 2nd May  2010
The Church Langley Water Tower in Harlow is the venue for this popular event. The tower stands an imposing 120ft tall along side the M11 and is perfect for Abseiling. So if you're over 16 and good with heights why not sign up?

Charity Night

70's Glam rock band 'Lipstick Torpedo' will be part of a Charity night at Allenburys Sports and Social Club in Harris Lane, Ware. Tickets are £10 available by calling 01992 899166.

Barkway Golf

Friday 7th May 2010
There is a charity Golf Day in aid of the Herts Air Ambulance at Barkway Golf Club, Nuthampstead Road, Barkway near Royston. The entry cost is £200 per team of four, and includes a coffee and a bacon roll on arrival and a buffet dinner. Nightrider Challenge

Saturday 19th June 2010

If you're a cyclist who likes a challenge why not try this...NIGHTRIDER is a 100km cycle around London at night!

Starting at Crystal Palace in South East London at approx 11pm on the 19th June 2010 the group will set off together on this 100km circular route. The route will be fully signed so that participants can cycle at their own pace. En-route cyclists will take in all the famous sights, from the City to the Thames and all the key landmarks.

The registration fee is £25 and the recommended minimum sponsorship is £175 making it an affordable and obtainable challenge for all. For more information contact Nezda on 0845 2417690.
